Get Certified
Once you have completed your training and you feel you are ready to sit for the exam, it is time to schedule your examination test date with your chosen Approved Provider. IIEI Certification does not administer its tests. It relies upon Approved Providers who order tests from us once they have received your test application. If you are applying to take a test online, your Approved Provider, as the test proctor, will order test access keys of us.
U.S. Applicants
Contact your local Approved Provider to have them proctor your examination. If you self-studied and need to find a testing center near you, use the testing application link on this page to register to take your test.
Applicants Outside the U.S.
Only IIEI Certification’s Approved Providers or their licensees are authorized to administer certification examinations outside the U.S. Not all current Approved Providers are shown on this web site. Contact IIEI Certification to locate a testing center near you.

Industry Certification Examination Fees
Fee Structure: Within each category, the testing fee varies depending on the certification chosen, the country of residence of the person taking the examination, and other factors. Check with your local Approved Provider testing center for exact fees.
Test Site Selection: Any industry examination can be proctored at any approved test location worldwide. Generally, test sites are colleges and universities located near where the examinee lives or works. See test policies for additional information. To select or recommend a site, simply fill out and submit the Test Site Application online. Our staff will make all the arrangements.
Acceptable Certification Examination Proctors:
Most people sitting for one of the industry certifications through the IIEI Certification are proctored by one of the following approved sources:
- Approved Training Providers (Worldwide)
- Authorized College or University Testing Center (Worldwide)
- Approved Independent Testing provider (U.S. only)
- Sponsoring Company’s Human Resource Department or other approved department (U.S. only)
If you are unable to locate a proctor in one of the categories listed above, please contact the IIEI Certification for additional suggestions. We recognize that you know your area far better than anyone else. With certification students across the globe, we regret that we cannot locate proctors for each student. IIEI’s Certification’s Testing Department reserves the right to approve or deny any proctor location.
Proctor Fees (Effective May 12, 2008):
Because of the variability and increase of fees charged by proctors, there has been a change in policy. As of the date shown above, Test Proctor Fees, if any, are now the responsibility of the individual sitting for the examination or their sponsoring company. Generally, a person’s employer reimburses this fee if a company representative or other authorized internal agent is not able to proctor the test. Check with your employer regarding their policy. Please note that the Test Application Fee does not include the Proctor Fee. It pays for costs related to administering tests including, shipping the tests to and from testing sites.
Certification Exam Course Requirements: There is no requirement that individuals take preparation courses prior to sitting for any certification exam. However, in order to increase an individual’s chances of success exam preparation training courses from an Approved Provider are highly recommended as they are the best means of mastering the stated knowledge requirements set forth by IIEI Certification.
Students who choose to sit for the exam without completing the requisite coursework or without the award of waivers are welcome to sit for the exam. However, unlike those who have completed the courses from an Approved Provider, if a candidate does not pass any portion of the exam, they cannot retake only that portion of the exam, but must either complete the whole exam or the suggested coursework for the section missed and the exam review course from an Approved Provider.
