BIOGRAPHY - Richard L. "Rick" Oxford  (As of October 28, 2005)

Richard (Rick) Oxford brings a wealth of business experience, and specifically knowledge about international trade relations globally, to the Certification Board of Governors’ Board of Directors.

 

Currently, Rick is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Oxford Legacy Planning. He is directly involved with developing, patenting, marketing and promoting a complex charitable planning tool to charity organizations and foundations. Rick currently teaches graduate business classes at a major university and for the IIEI.

 

From 1999 until 2003, Rick served as Director of Operations at the IIEI, during which time he was involved in numerous international trade activities that span the globe. His efforts resulted in the expansion of the IIEI’s global reach to include the People’s Republic of China, Egypt, Malaysia, Japan, and Jordan to name but a few. His understanding of international trade has been instrumental in the global acceptance of CBG’s international trade standards outside the U.S.

 

Prior to 1999, Rick founded and managed a successful construction and consulting company serving the construction needs in the southwest U.S.

 

Rick has served on various civic and non-profit boards. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the West Valley Art Museum (Phoenix, Arizona). He currently serves on numerous civic committees and is a member of the Board of Directors of InsuranceBeacon, a national insurance provider. Rick is a minority shareholder in several corporations, including the IIEI.

 

Rick earned a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Phoenix. He attended the U.S. Naval Academy in 1975 and completed a Bachelor degree in Geology at Northern Arizona University
