** A point of clarification: As a general rule, “training centers” are defined as organizations whose sole, full-time purpose is to train and educate individuals about skills valuable in the workplace, using certified instructors through classroom instruction. Training centers will be required to submit verification of their business practices and qualifications to be an Approved Provider. Organizations that perform training occasionally, such as Human Resource departments within corporations, generally do not qualify to be Approved Providers. Final determination of eligibility to be an Approved Provider will be made by the IIEI Certification Department. World Trade Centers, District Export Councils and state/government/United Nations sponsored trade support organizations do qualify as Approved Providers.
